Join African Mosaic for a hands-on workshop in Nature Photography to one of the most iconic and
unique locations in South Africa – the Knersvlakte and Matzikmama Mountains in the vivinity of
Vanrhynsdorp and Niewoudtsville, a nature photographers paradise. Joggie van Staden and Dewet
Uys will take you to some unknown and very interesting locations where you will be introduced to
some of the most interesting geological formations while you are surrounded by many of South
Africa’s most rare and unique succulent plant wonders – which may be in bloom this time of year.
Each day will consist of a short hike (2-7km) to a different location, combined with an information
session, time for download, editing and then a discussion of the top photos of the day. This will not
only be a photographic tour but also a personal journey to your own motivation and approach to
